A Star is Coming to Town!!!

So I was at an event last night before an event that was before an event and a dear friend asked me, "why aren't you blogging"? Believe me, I had given it a lot of thought and I told her I don't know. So I am correcting that wrong today. My friend asked me what I thought about the upcoming Louisville Orchestra concert featuring Bernadette Peters. Are you kidding???!!!!! I can't wait!!! Ms. Peters is a living legend and someone whom I have admired since my youth. She has truly forged her own path in her career and has become a Broadway icon. A winner of two Tony awards and a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame is a testament to her talent. But what I also like about her is that she is a philanthropist. She founded an organization called Broadway Barks which of course helps to benefit the plight of homeless pets with services that allow for reducing the population. She is even a children's book author too. Talent ooze from her effortlessly....when I grow up I hope that I can be like that.
So I suggest that you call the ticket office at 502-584-7777 or go to www.louisvilleorchestra.org and order your tickets post haste to come enjoy some great artistry from a living legend, but also to support Louisville's only professional and world acclaimed Orchestra. The show promises to be a great time!!!! I hope to see you there!!! If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact me!!!
